Part 1042: Operational Report: 13/10/44

The bombers continue to do their work well, fires mean points as far as I'm concerned.







The Moulmein support bombers take to the air once more.



The Japanese try for Bassein once more, but our planes do their jobs.



I do seem to have this weird thing were the fewer planes I use, the better the results I get.







Our carriers are nearly on station, not that I've seen a plane take off from Saipan in weeks. But better safe than sorry.









Plotting continues, the ships I need for the Saipan invasion are in place, and they are setting off for their target tonight. We're back to positive points today, so if I can keep this up, then things will be looking good.

Tomorrow could be bloody however.



Once again, Intell tells me I have 48,000 men on Urrupu-jima. Thanks intell, if only I could get the ships up there to use them.
