And the main wave follows up with a average hit.



The Avengers go out, and one of them lands two bomb hits on their target.







The first strike at Babeldaob goes in, and runs into massed enemy fighters. They carry on, and land some hits on the airfield though.







I kinda forgot about our forces at Kaingtu. They make an attack today, but the Japanese have dug in deep.










At least the bombing campaign has started – late, but that's better than nothing, isn't it? You may see 37 air to air losses as crippling, I see them as the price of doing business.
