Part 1098: Operational Report: 08/12/44

I think the lack of moonlight (28%) is hurting our bombing runs, as the moon turns, we should see this improving.







We are continuing to keep the pressure up on the old Moulmein defenders.



We also support the Bangkok forces.







A day late for the birthday, but the carriers get me a oiler today.



The Japanese make a play for our carriers, but with unescorted bombers only. Lots of little raids of unescorted bombers.



We light up three more tankers.







We make another attack at Bangkok, and are able to break some of the defences.









Any day we take out an oiler is a good day, and I'm hopeful for the invasion of the Philippines.



Hopefully all these tankers I'm holeing will show up later one.
