Part 1132: Operational Report: 11/01/45

The Bombers walk along their target – no rest for the retreating Japanese!







We continue the support – I want this airbase! Although I am sending troops and support to another base further up, just to hedge my bets.



We continue the attacks, and I don't know how much longer the Japanese can take losses like this.







The B-29's hit their new target.



Of course, Meabashi still gets some attention, but I'm going to do another quick rest to repair the damaged planes.



The Japanese attack a supply convoy, but cannot make it through to the ships.



Their afternoon attack is larger, and does get a number of hits on the CVE's.



Then they hit us with the bombers, it gets messy. Wave after wave follows this and many ships sink.







We retake Kiangtu. Again.
