Part 1137: Operational Report: 16/01/45

The Bombardment force hits Legaspi once more.



The Japanese sweep our fighters, and shoot one down. We shoot twenty one of them down in retaliation.



The unescorted bombers that come next meet the same fate. After this there are numerous smaller raids that are also turned away with heavy losses.



We strike a tanker as well.



some of our tanks catch up with the troops retreating from Davao, and despite being heavily outnumbered, they attack.







We continue to bomb Maebashi mercilessly.



I also hit the airfield at Nagoya, trying out a new tactic.







The Japanese attack our force advancing on Tavoy, but are met by a wall of flak.







I have troops in Tsintao, but the Japanese attack first, with poor results.









That was a better day, but I still want combat troops to land near Manilla.
