Part 1257: Operational Report: 16/05/45

Well, that ships going down.

The enemy destroyers are back.

We get some good hits in, and they shouldn't be a problem for long.

The bombers get some hits today.

The 91st Division is now cut off behind my lines, and is at a point I can begin to attack it. This is the largest unit I have seen on Hokkaido, and its going down.

The clean up continues to go well. About six units are wiped out by attrition and the rest are surrounded. This is another major Japanese force eliminated.

Here the Japanese units also continue to crumble.

The number of Japanese casualties makes up for the lack of advances. I'd rather have both of course, but I have to be realistic.
