We lose more planes at Tarawa.



Five separate raids come in, but they are all variations on the same.







Cox's Bazar continues to be bombed back into the stone age.







The once defenders of Canton are forced to retreat once more, with the now mandatory heavy losses.







The Japanese take another base off Timor.



One more island we'll need to reclaim later.







A dull day, with one one blood bath in China. The Japanese are now limiting themselves to bombing the same old bases day after day.
We get told that the Yamashiro is still in action, and not sunk as we were originally told.
