The Japanese make an night time attack on Shanghai, but cause no damage.







We finally get some damage reports from Rabaul.









The carriers are back in Sydney, and the Yorktown is right into drydock.



Sixteen days is not to long. It should give some of the squadrons time to upgrade and replace their losses – then the carriers will go out again.
