Part 571: Operational Report: 30/06/43

We continue to level large sections of Rabaul.



I can't wait to have Rabaul's Airfield, I have a load of planes in Shortlands just waiting to jump the channel and protect our shipping. For now, we're going to have to take the losses.







The Japanese planes from Maleolap raid Rio-Namur today, causing some nasty damage.







Another attack on Prome today sees us downing another plane.









The bulk of our forces advancing on Rabaul now have only eight miles left to advance – but in this jungle terrain, that could still take a couple of weeks.
