Part 605: Operational Report: 03/08/43

Our ships arrive at Aitape, but do not get any troops ashore before the airfield can hit them with a major strike.



I'll admit this now, I screwed up an provided no air support. I've been a bit sleep deprived recently, and the men here pay for it.



But we get some men ashore, and with the landingcraft, they come ashore in large numbers.







We see some more air combat in Burma.



Over Rangoon, we see a bombing run on our troops.



While on the ground, our men begin moving forwards once more.







We continue to push on the coastal forces. This is going to be slow going I think.









Dammit, I didn't want to lose those ships in Aitape. But at least our men are ashore, and we will be wiping out those bombers soon enough.
