Part 608: Operational Report: 06/08/43

The Enemy continue to bomb out ships at Aitape.



Every hit is another mark of my stupidity.



Although the men on the ground are making good progress.







The Japanese attack us a Wuchang once more. This is doing some serious damage to our ability to ship supplies around China.



On the coast, another Japanese unit succumbs to attrition.







The bombing of Maleolap continues, but I'm not sure we're going to be able to shut the airbase down without another attempt at landing - something I'm loathed to do.









This is why I should not run turns when sleep deprived – although as its the 10th of July when I write this, by the time you see this, I'll probably be sleeping properly again.
I set the bombers to hit Hollanda, they should cause some havoc tomorrow., and hopefully take out the airfield, protecting our ships. I should have done this beforehand, but hey, I learn, my troops die.
