Part 610: Operational Report: 08/08/43

It seems that we have yet to shut down the Hollanda airfield, and we take some more damage.



So this time, we try a little harder.



While the ground forces make their advances.

Over a hundred fighters - I shouldn't have made that crack about the balance of power shifting a few days ago.



This raid skips another fighter sweep of 78 planes – the Japanese have moved masses of fighters into the region it seems.





The Express seems to be getting a good few planes into the air at the moment.







We take out another unit near the coast.








We lose a couple more ships, but hitting Hollanda should start to have some effect tomorrow. After it is reduced, we shall switch back to Truk for a week or so before preparing for the invasion.
