Part 726: Operational Report: 02/12/43

The Betties take a crack at Hollandia, trading a few planes for a few hits.



We get some form of a damage report from Biak for a change.



I'm going to have to halt the peicemeal bombing of Truk, we just can't get through this many fighters – we need to cut the island off somehow!







We're not going to be seeing the Express any time soon methinks.



The Japanese make another attack at Kaifeng, and lose another unit. I only worry is the stack from the south is on its way north.



Hence I have the Haichow force marching north – taking bases as they go of course, Suchow is now ours again.







Akyab comes under attack once more.









I need to figure out what to do about the Marianas islands, as the current strategy is not going to work.
Any suggestions appreciated.
