Part 770: Operational Report: 15/01/44

I'm still getting used to the idea of effective submarines.







Shanghai is attacked once more.



The Indochina force is attacked again.







As the carriers pull out of the region, the Kamikazes return.



We start to reduce the remaining Japanese on Biak. Two of their units are wiped out by attrition at the end of the day.







Another day over Akyab.







The Japanese carriers find and savage one of my tankers. They have to be running out of fuel and supplies soon.









Dam those Kamikazes! At least the British battleship is made of sterner stuff.



I do realize that I sent some RAF units to Biak, thinking ahead, then promptly forgot about them! I send some fighters to the base to protect the ships. They are now going to skip across the bay and take out the other island. Once they have planned for the assault of course.
