Part 788: Operational Report: 02/02/44

Boom! Ha ha ha!



The Express get into the air, and cause some damage.







The subs are really messing the Japanese up at the moment.



The second invasion of Sorong goes in.



We support this with an air strike on the two ships in the area.



The Japanese make a assault on our beaches once more, and we hold them off, but I'm not sure how long we can unless we can get more troops onto the shore. At least they pay for it today.



The attack on Noemfoor is going to go much better. If I can clean this up quickly, then I can move these troops up.







The Subs are having a fine day today!







I'm losing so many planes at Marcus Island, and I have no idea what to do about it.



While at least one Japanese carrier is active still, the Nassau takes a hit in the morning, and survives this afternoon attack.



Make that two.







There is an unescorted raid on Akyab, and we make them pay for it.









That was a busy day! Lots of things are going on, but most of them don't require my imput at the moment.
