The QE takes a number of hits today.



We clean up the last units at Ambon. Time to think about sending in some ships to get the troops out.



Only joking! I'll send some planes in first! Lets look at us grinding down the defenders at Lautem.







The Japanese make more bombing runs of Rangoon, using their massed fighters.







The CVE holds off the bombers over Iwo-jima.









That was a nice quiet day, as long as you don't count the air over Rangoon. But you don't want to see ten separate raids, its boring.
