Part 882: Operational Report: 06/05/44

A new type of bomber hits Rangoon.







Another group of carriers sweeps into the Bonins.



With this, another small Japanese convoy pays the price.



Then I hit a troop ship at Iwo-Jima – the Japanese are reinforcing the island!



The heavy bombers go in once more, in smaller numbers this time.



These smaller attacks are still effective however.







I'm holding out for one more day of attacks at KIAfeng, even though the casualties are brutal.









Not much to mention here, apart from the fact that I'm calling off the invasion of Iwo-Jima. Those extra troops will make it to hard a nut to crack right now.
