Part 890: Operational Report: 14/05/44
Today's target is the port at Rangoon, and the troops marching in from the north.
The Japanese are only able to get about half the planes into the air today that they did yesterday.
Our own numbers are reduced, but they still get several planes through to the target.
This is a fantastic run by the northern bombers.
Bombers rule the skies at the moment. The carriers have reached Pearl and need about a week to repair their damage and restock the lost planes, then I shall begin loading for the invasion of Guam!
