Part 967: Operational Report: 30/07/44

Shanghai suffers a night bombardment.



We brush aside another small force on our way south in Vietnam.



I also order an attack at Kiukiang, as we have to break the enemy here at some point, and we have halved the Japanese AV. Plus you guys need to complain about a Chinese meatgrinder.







We get a good number of planes into the air, but can only take a few enemy planes out.



They do stay up, and continue to do some damage.







The wounded ships are covered as they retreat home.



We finally take Guam! Today is a good day!



The fight for Tinian continues to go well as well.







The bombers take a day off, but we hit a cargo ship in the evening.









I was worried that this was going to be a quiet day, but then we go and take Guam, and all is good. The base is not completely secure yet, but I begin to place planes on the island.



Things could get interesting now.
