Part 20: Turn 23 - 4th December 1943

We see our first reversal of the war as the free Italian forces are forced into retreat.



My work to cut the supplies to Naples pay dividends, and all their troops in the south of Italy are now cut off and waiting to be plucked.



In the north, they retreat to new lines, and the snow is falling.









Heavy snow over Europe limits the bombers.






The last unit in Corsica makes a fairly orderly withdrawal to the mainland.



I start trying to clear Terracina. I want the port there.



But Naples is the prize.



There are so many Germans to capture.



Here I overrun an entire Division.



Here I cut off an entire Panzer Division.



I need to keep these guys from digging in.



The pushes continue.



Time to ship the amphibious units home.
