Part 27: Turn 30 - 22nd January 1944

Once again, the Germans opt to retreat over fight.






The normal January story.






I start moving a couple of tank divisions cross country.



We continue to target the weak points in their line.



A general advance continues.



I'm still looking for an encirclement.



There is still some steel in them though.



I bring in two fresh divisions – including the Poles, and try again. To no avail.



We'll just have to do this the old fashioned way.



These guys are dug in well.



Work on another fortified position begins.



Next week I guess.



More of a costly week it seems. But we're still moving and well ahead of schedule.
