Part 105: Torgo System, Epsilon Sector, Mission 3 (Story)
Short update here, because nothing's actually happening on board the Victory before the next mission, I guess the idea is we pretty much land, refuel and head straight back out to take advantage of an opportunity that's just shown up.Torgo System, Epsilon Sector (Mission 3)
Long-range patrols report a Kilrathi tanker convoy trying to make their way out of the system via a jump point in an asteroid belt. Looking to top off the Behemoth's fuel tanks, Tolwyn and Eisen scramble a flight of fighters from the Victory after them.
Rec Room, TCS Victory
There's no actual conversations before this mission, so time to catch up on the galactic news I guess. Looks like the Fleet's PR officers seem to be unwilling to admit that the war situation is developing not necessarily to humanity's advantage.

And the killboard, which reveals that apparently we shot down 58 Kilrathi fighters since the last mission, which, if true, is a decent proportion of a carrier flight wing. We haven't encountered anything heavier than a fighter though - where are all these cats coming from? Presumably, whatever it is that these tankers are heading to refuel, something which is likely destined to remain a mystery since we've no intention of letting them get there.

Briefing Room
If we're to take this briefing literally, it implies that the Behemoth couldn't actually make it out of the system without stealing fuel from the Kilrathi. One does kind of wonder why we don't have a fuel shipment incoming from the Confederation, not that I object to having an interdiction mission rather than an escort.

Well, actually we choose a wingman and then leave, this isn't a scramble mission.
Choose your own Blair!
No conversations, but we get to pick fighter and wingman, and also difficulty level - the available fighter options are the Arrow and the Hellcat - presumably nothing else is fast enough to reach the transports before they jump. In terms of wingmen, it's anyone except Maniac, with Flash being the only one (other than Maniac) who is currently at risk. The remaining stops on my difficulty level tour are Rookie, Veteran, and Ace (that's levels 1, 2, and
