”Elly, what the HELL?! Blargh.”
"Fei! Now you hang in there!"
"Sh, she took my gun...!?"
"W, why did you do that, Elly...?"
"Elly!? What happened to you!? How could you!?"
"Don't tell me she's been... brainwashed!?"
”Again... It’s against the rules to pull that twice in the same series!”
"It has nothing to do with brainwashing..."

Krelian pops back up like nothing ever happened... Everyone looks over rather surprised.


“Not only for longevity... but also to unify with the 'mother'... So don't be surprised. This much damage can be recovered rather quickly."
”Did you really think I take on such an antagonistic tone again in front of an armed violent man-child and not have a contingency in place? Please...”
"Unify with the mother...?"
"That girl... Elhaym, is our 'mother'."
"Yes. I am the mother of all humans..."
"Elly...!?"
”...You’re the...I...I do NOT like the implications of that...”
"What are you babbling on about!? Snap out of it, Elly!!"
”You ain’t my mom. Or anyone else here’s mom. And my pal Fei here ain’t a motherfucker. So stop talking nonsense.”
"You're as dense as usual... But, I don't blame you... So be it. I will explain to you all about it."

Elly takes a deep breath and begins the Great Info Dump of Merkava...


“It was created as an automatic weapon which could act upon its own will to take control of a targeted planet. But you should've known this much from looking at the Razael records. Anyway, during a test run, Deus became uncontrollable. It released its power and annihilated a whole planet. The creators of 'Deus' found its immeasurable power to be too much of a threat and hence forcibly shut it down. In order to analyze the cause of the problem, its core was dismantled and placed on an inter-planetary emigrant passenger ship to be transported to another planet. Becoming aware of this, the disassembled Deus resisted. It tried to take over the passenger ship that was transporting it. However, as a last line of defense against the escape of Deus, its creators unexpectedly destroyed the whole ship, sending it crashing to this planet. Deus knew that it would not be able to get away from the explosion or the imminent impact and so it detached its core from the 'Zohar' power reactor."
"Zo... har...?"
"Yes, 'Zohar'... It is what drives all of the Gears on this planet. It is the master generator that transmits its energy to the slave generators in our Gears. It is also the source of all the Ether power that the inhabitants of this planet utilize. By utilizing the energy displacements caused by actualizing potential future phenomenon...this 'Zohar Modifier' has the ability to produce infinite amounts of energy."
"The source of all our Ether power!?"
”This will take much longer if you all keep repeating parts of my seminar in the form of a question...”
"Are you saying all our energy comes from that one power reactor or engine?"


“The core that was detached from Zohar, the 'Biological Computer Kadomony' crashed onto this primitive planet. It activated -Persona-, its life support plant, which can generate organic material. Using this it prepared for itself a genetic-based system for the day when Deus would be resurrected. Thus, the first humans were created from there... Emperor Cain and the elders of the Gazel Ministry."
"Are you saying the Emperor and them Gazel geezers were people born from Deus!?"
"Do you know why the Gazel Ministry desired the Anima Relics and your bodies? Well, here's the reason... Before becoming human, the bodies of the Ministry were once part of the organic elements in the core circuit that made up 'Deus'. There were two types of organic elements. The female type was called 'Anima', while the male type was called 'Animus'. They were also created with the added ability to become mobile weapons by merging with machinery that was suited for use as terminal interface weapons for Deus. In other words, those Omnigears you were using were one form of such weapons. The Ministry, which were Animus, were to become one again with their separated Anima at the time of the resurrection of god... But, in a war 500 years ago, they all lost their physical bodies. It was then that they decided to extract their own genetic factor from certain individuals of their human descendants who carried the appropriate sets of D.N.A.. All so each of them could become one with their respective Anima again."


"Then we're all...!?"
"Yes, you humans are all descendants of Cain and the Gazel Ministry...”
”Man, those were the worst grandpas ever.”
“They were born from the -Persona-, gave birth, and propagated. They followed their inbuilt program to someday resurrect the heavily damaged Deus."
"All the people in the world were created solely to resurrect Deus!?"
"Yes. But it wasn't just to restore its old body. More than half of Deus is constructed of biological parts. Do you remember those mutated humans? Those are all people who were destined to become replacement parts for Deus."
"We humans are... parts for god..."
”Bio-matter does not grow on trees. Well, not the kind Deus needs at least...”
"Yes, almost all the people are destined to become parts for Deus. But you people gathered here are all different. You could say... you escaped that destiny by existing through multiple generations... In actuality, there wasn't enough parts for Deus... But, Krelian compensated for what was lacking. The reduction in the number of parts, was due to humans living through multiple generations... But that deficiency in the human factor, was made up for by the nanomachines created by Krelian. Not only that, but his nanomachines added additional functions. Deus has thus evolved into the perfect weapon."
”The heck did space people need with some crazy perfect weapon made out of people parts and crap?”
*shrug* “You would have to ask them. That is a bit beyond the focus of this lecture.”


“What has happened...? Why... do you know all... that...?"
"I am Miang. The keeper of time. The representative of our god -Deus-. I was born to guide the people toward the path of the resurrection of Deus."
"That's ridiculous! Miang was just..."
”Ergh... Well, you know. I don’t really want to piss off Mr. Angry Collar again.”
"You're limited in your ability to understand... Miang's factor exists within all women. The one who transcends the generations, the caretaker of humans. When the previous one dies, somewhere another Miang is awakened. It is programmed into all women's DNA to be that way. Who inherits the duty is just a matter of probability, Fei. That Miang over there and I are the same existence. We are all parts of Deus... All caretakers of humans."
“So any woman can just randomly turn into Miang one day when the old one dies? Or do you like ghost into the closest one?”
“It is sadly, quite random. There have been some...unfortunate generations... Ugh... Miang-411... But, the pool of candidates is quite small at the moment considering recent events. Still, quite the coincidence for this body to be my new form.”
“What a twist.”


“I am one of the parts that composes Deus. Hence, I must become one with it."
"Elly! Why did it have to be you? If Miang is a part for Deus, why did it not happen earlier...?"
"It's still not enough for her just to have awakened. Although she may be Miang, she still isn't the 'true Miang'."
"The 'true Miang'...?"
"Let's go, Krelian. All that is left to do is to vanquish this planet's civilization and return it to how it was. Then I can complete my unification with the final fragment of Deus... the 'Zohar Modifier'... The power reactor that fell upon this planet and became our genesis, and now, our apocalypse..."
"The eradication of civilization!? What is the purpose of doing that!?"
"Who knows...? The creations of god will someday be a hindrance. That is why they must be eliminated. I am just programmed to act in this way..."
”Plus, who doesn’t enjoy a good genocide every now and then? It’s been a while since the last...”
*walks toward Deus* "Come... It is time for the awakening of the true 'mother'."

Elly jumps off the platform and follows Krelian...

"Please... wait... Elly...!"
"Farewell... Fei. May you have a peaceful 'awakening'..."


And with that Krelian and Elhaymiang stroll into the newly resurrected Deus.

The tubes feeding into Deus detach from it and the Lovecraftian abomination sinks into the err...Mako Reactor or whatever the hell we’re looking at here.

Fei doesn’t take his girlfriend turning into Evil Mitochondrial Eve very well so he hops into Weltall-2 and leaps into the green goop after them...


"Wait!! Fei! Do not release the system!!"
"Citan, wait!! We are only endangering ourselves! Let's get outta here for now!!"
”That might be difficult. Don’t half our Gears not work anymore?”
“They got better! Now move before...before...well I don’t know what before. But we’re going!”

A short while later...


Yeesh. That projector screen still of Merkava really didn’t convey its scale very well. That is...pretty big for something thrown together in two weeks...






Upon activating, Merkava’s first order of business is nuking a significant portion of the surrounding continent. I hope you all weren’t hoping to revisit most major locations from Disc 1. Not too much is going to be left standing at the end of this, me thinks...









“Elly, what the shit?!”
“Is she brainwashed again?”
“Nothing like that. She’s just the mother of all humanity.”
“Hey! Weren’t you just dead?”
“I got better.”
“Ho—“
“Nanomachines.”
“Alright, listen up idiots. I’m Miang now. Don’t look so surprised. I’ve been around since the dawn of humanity 10,000 years ago. I just had less clothes and much longer hair back then. Anyway, any woman on the planet can randomly get possessed by me when the previous body dies. Speaking of humanity, you’re all Emperor Cain and the Gazel Ministry’s kids. They were created by Deus. And by extension so were all of you. Deus is a giant biological weapon that went out of control and tried to take over the space ship it was being held on. But the jerk captain blew it up and it crashed on this planet. Seeing as it couldn’t do much about that, it spawned humanity and had them populate the planet to cultivate enough bio-matter to eventually harvest and fix itself up way down the line. But people kept getting reincarnated or living 500 years and other annoying things. However, Krelian compensated by adding nanomachines.”
“They fix pretty much everything.”
“Well, that’s the gist of it. Krelian and I are going to go hop into Deus and start up the apocalypse. I think wiping out civilization ought to be a fun kick-off.”
“What?! Why?!”
*shrug* “I’m the spawn of an inter-planetary doomsday weapon god. It’s just kind of what we do. Ta-ta!”
“No, Elly come back! I still love you even if you’ve got anime colored hair and shot me and are my great great grandma or something!”
*jumps into god after her*
“No, don’t do that! That is dumb! Stop being dumb, Fei!”
“Man, fuck this noise! We’re out of here.”

And then a bunch of stuff was blown up for no real reason. The end.
