“I haven’t gotten a single spoken sound the entire game.”

It is very confusing if you get to the ending but never bothered to get/knew about getting Emeralda’s adult form as she is all grown up regardless during the final cutscene.
”...Well that sucked.” “At least the planet didn’t explode” “There was a chance of the planet blowing up?!” “Yeah... Long story... Dumb story...” “It turns out God is kind of a...” “Prick.” *frown* “My giant robot dad is double dead.”

And that, ladies and gentlemen, is Xenogears. The game was a bit too bloated in places and anemic in others for its own good. Its pacing and tone were all over the damn place. Disc 2 was mostly a barely held together with duct-tape mess due to its slashed budget. And it had more than a few questionable gameplay decisions and some godawful dungeons. But, overall, I still like it. If nothing, it was a memorable journey and that is more than I can ask for from 90% of recent games I’ve played. I mean, how many video games are there out there where you can hop in a giant robot and deck a dinosaur to save your girlfriend? Not many by my count... Not many at all!
I hope you jerks enjoyed the bumpy ride through tales of god and mind with the Dragon Slaying Slacker, Fei Fong Wong, these past five months (oh god has it really been 5 months today?) and 150+ updates. Thanks for sticking around for the long haul. Someone else can handle Xenogears Episodes I-IV if they ever surface.
