Part 8: Fall 1958: Pre-Vote

In a rather lucky windfall, you get an event that will let you ignore one failure in a future Mercury based mission. This is extra convenient as the game seems to have gone a little funny on me and also seems to think you have a 10MB or -10% on the Mercury program at the moment. Since that shouldn't actually be the case and it's apparently bugged anyway, I'm going to give you guys and automatic No response to paying on this one.



The current state of the Cape. Getting a little busy, eh? The new buulding bottom center are the Astronaut Center and Basic Training buildings, all that mess in the upper right are Advanced Training facilities. You can send astronauts there after Basic to try to improve their skills a little more.

You also have a Orbital Satellite mission scheduled, which you could choose to launch again for the hell of it (4 MB in hardware costs), or scrub for no cost. You have 16 total MB to work with. Here is the status!
