I'll put my vote for Option B, that spoiler text intrigues me.

Uh...don't be that intrigued, it's only because I don't want to have to wait three extra missions to show off something more cool than practical. Then again, given the way you guys build wanzers, you'll love it.

Chapter #27: Kazuki 3, America 0

Ryogo has a new email.

Be safe

You're going to the DHZ?
That country is in the
middle of a civil war.
Look at the Department of
Public Safety web site's
DHZ page. The
password is "D8Z"

I always thought of
you like a son.
I even considered you
as my daughter's groom.
Come back safe.
I'll never believe
you're a criminal.

: ...(He's nice. ) (Who is he?)
: What's the matter?
: This guy named Shizuka Jinguji...
: Oh, the engineer in Okinawa?
: What?
Yep, that's the end of that mystery! It turns out those emails were just from some boring guy we never met.

Alright, we're finally almost in China! Now, to remind you all, we're in China so we can go meet with Liu's friend, the ambassador from Ravnui who can help us...somehow.

God damn it! Can't we go anywhere without being shot at?

More USN wanzers, eh? Much like the state of Indiana, they wore out their welcome a long time ago, but won't do everyone a favor and go to hell!

And our train is crippled by a single rifle shot. Apparently the mighty armored locomotive is roughly one-fourth as tough as the weakest wanzer on my team.

: !
: What was that!?
: Ouch! Where'd you learn to pilot, old man!
: Sorry, I had no choice. Get in your wanzers now!

Okay, then, time to send more USN pilots to the land beyond the veil.

There will be no Delta leader.
: No need to capture them. Kill them all!

I am in no mood to fuck around. I bring Kazuki, Ryogo, Alisa, and Miho. I'm going to run right into the enemy and shoot them and hit them until they are no more.

More Grapples with machine guns. In general, this is a good thing, as that's much less scarier than Grapples with fists, but it does mean that Kazuki is going to take more hits than I'd prefer.

The Yamato Nadeshiko finally does IceMole proud. Listen, I know I've been grumbling about you guys changing weapons, but it's not like it's a huge crisis or something, at least, not yet.

And then Miho lands an even more devastating attack. This battle is really about a duel between two competing melee designs. Kazuki and Ryogo are just bit players today.

Although, to be fair, part of that has to do with the less than rugged production of the Bullet Hell and Mmmbop...

It's good Kazuki got this kill, because he wouldn't have survived the return fire.

Crunch. I think one reason I like the Gladiator so much may be that it is so aesthetically pleasing. It radiates menace.

In the interests of equal time, here's a screenshot of the Mmmbop...

And Alisa downs a Rekson. Not bad.

Miho responds by almost destroying the arm of a Rekson, and stunning it. Not bad, but edge to Alisa.

And then Alisa takes out another Rekson. Was I wrong about IceMole? No, no, it's a fluke.

Miho hits once...

...and then rips out the wanzer's rifle.

Ryogo cleans up the last wanzer, and we're finally done killing USN wanzers for a while.

Tidy. Now, for the MVP...from a statistical perspective, I ought to give it to Alisa and the Yamato Nadeshiko. It would be a great story, no doubt, not two missions removed from my brutal critique of the wanzer and its creator. If I had any sense of decency, that's what I'd do. Miho wins MVP.

: We're almost at the exit.
: Whew, we're finally in Da Han Zhong.
: We can relax for now.
: I hope you're right...
: ...What do you mean?
: There might be problems in Da Han Zhong. Anyway, let's get out of the tunnel. Let's go!
Can't we find out these problems before the shooting starts? I mean, it'd be nice to find out who's trying to kill us more than five seconds before Kazuki gets blasted by a missile.

Oh, well, I suppose that once we get to a country where we aren't enemies of the state, things'll get better.

Next Time: Kazuki takes a stand against democracy!

As for the vote, I think the consensus is option C. So, unless there are any strong objections, that's what we'll go with, which means they'll be another round of wanzer building in the next couple of days.
