Original Thread: Master Dumple, it is Done - Let's Play The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword

Introduction

---Game Description---
To celebrate The Legend of Zelda's 25th anniversary, Nintendo decided it was time to change everything. Making use of the Wii Motion Plus technology, Skyward Sword puts the player right into the boots of our hero Link Dumple; gone is the waggle of Twilight Princess Wii and in comes accurate swordplay, puzzling new enemy AI, and a considerable need for focus. Gone is the widespread but empty Hyrule Field and in comes a massive expanse of clouds and floating islands...that's also pretty empty. Gone is the naysayer's-go-to criticism of "we're just saving Zelda again" and in comes...us saving Zelda again. Also yes, the slingshot still (mostly) sucks.
Did Nintendo change enough? Did they maybe change too much? This LP is here to find out.

The story as such:
Dumple is a young student living on the floating island of Skyloft, separated from the world below by an impenetrable layer of clouds. He and his long time friend Zelda are studying to join the Knights of Skyloft; Dumple and his trusty companion, the Crimson Loftwing, Hambagular, successfully complete the advancement ceremony when Zelda is dragged below the clouds by a dark tornado. Soon after, a gelatinous, robotic figure by the name of Fi finds Dumple and informs him that Zelda is alive, and an ancient prophecy that involves both of them has begun to unravel. It is up to Dumple, joined by Fi, to fly below the clouds and fulfill his end of the prophecy.

---LP Description---
This will be as close to a 100% LP as possible. I will be collecting everything that isn't nailed to the level geometry: heart pieces, medals, Gratitude Crystals, Goddess Cubes, etc. I'm even getting all of the optional upgrades for my weapons and shield(s), and hell, I'll even show off potion upgrades, 'cause damnit I'm irresponsible with money.

Each part will encompass between 30-40 minutes of the game (sans intro cutscenes), as that is usually enough to get halfway through one section of the game, and it allows me to make higher quality videos that aren't too big for Blip but I've stopped using Blip because they annoy me.

^ She really likes drawing art for us. She's also really good at it. We're not complaining. Be on the lookout for The Legend of Zelda: Book of the Traitor, a webcomic I'll be writing that will be drawn by her.
