New Units - The Light
Avatara
- durability: strong (16), half damage from weapons, quarter damage from explosions, almost immune to lightning, immune to paralyze/petrify
- melee offense: very high
- ranged offense: special (dispersal dream)
- speed: medium (16), medium mobility (shallow/medium water, gentle slopes)
The Nine powerful sorcerors who lead the Legion against Balor and the Fallen Lords. Because of their years of training as magic-users and strategists, they tend to avoid melee combat but can be vicious when they have to be.
Each Avatar carries a sword, and knows how to use it. Each Avatar has a unique magic ability.

- speed: medium (16), "hydrophobic" mobility (gentle slopes)
The reanimated corpses of long-dead sorcerers, Shades take great pains to avoid running water (since they can only cross it by using a bridge) and act as a conduit for the evil magic of the Fallen Lords.
