Part 108: 8/30/09

They were selling something amazing on the home shopping network, so I made sure to order it.

Anyway Yukari was busy and Junpei’s nowhere to be found.

He’d better get started on that homework, or he’ll be in trouble.
As for me, I’m all done now! Time for some fun!
> Yukari seems to have already made plans.
> She’s not able to go to the moivies…

The Film Festival is still going on though.

Narrator: Episode 28: Dimensional Beast! The enemy is—cute!?
Newscaster: …And now, the news.
The Apathy Syndrome that’s becoming more widespread…

I think Fuuka’s already looking forward to next time they hold one.

With so many films on one ticket, the price ended up being very low.
Is Iwatodai the only place that holds festivals like this?

I’m surprised, Mitsuru had enough free time to head down and see some movies with me today.

It’s inevitable when one has a month off that there will be at least one day with a clear schedule.
Hmm… What should I do?
> Misturu seems to be free today.
Hm… the movies…
I just remembered that I received VIP tickets from a distributor…
…I think I’ll make use of them.
All right, let’s go.

I don’t think movies are really Mitsuru’s thing.

This will be my first time seeing a straightforward love story.
It should be an interesting experience. Shall we enter?
> ………
> You’ve seen many kinds of love…
> As well as how to find love…
What was that last one? “Eternal Love”?
Isn’t it quite a coincidence for the man to find her, when he had no idea where she was?
And why would he wait until the last moment to announce that he’s secretly a prince?
Just saying “I wasn’t able to tell you” is poor storytelling. It’s a crucial piece of information.
And the ending… It stopped right when the prince and the woman settle down. But what about after that?
If they had shown the real life of royalty, I assure you it wouldn’t have been a happy ending.
They didn’t show the most difficult parts.
……
…I’m sorry. I shouldn’t be so critical of the movie you wanted to see with me.
I just… couldn’t help but compare it to my own life.
I suppose I enjoyed it on some level, since I was able to relate to the characters so strongly.
> Mitsuru seems a little embarrassed.
> You decided to go back to the dorm with Mitsuru.

Ken’s noticing the number of Lost that have been around lately. It’s higher than ever.

Have you noticed?
Those people—“The Lost”… They’ve been increasing…
I wish there was something I could do.

Officer Kurosawa had something for me, it was the weirdest reward yet.

I’m fine with one or two, but this many just gets in the way of our work.
…You saved him, didn’t ya? Just go ahead and take them all.
> Obtained Malachite x20.

Mitsuru came along with me to take Koro-chan out.

Koromaru looks happy when he’s here…
It must be something akin to a hometown for him…
I said some things earlier today, but now that I’ve had time to calm down and think about it…
Today’s movies did have their charms.
…Does it seem out of character for me to say something like that?
> You spoke quietly with Mitsuru…
Woof.
> It seems Koromaru is done playing.
What, are you satisfied already?
Well then, let’s go home.
> You decide to go back to the dorm with Koromaru.
