Part 36: The End of Rain

Update 36:

Varin/Beck has been defeated. He is no longer a threat to the Embryon.





He is not amused by being called names other than the one he recognizes as his. You see, as I said before, he remembers. He remembers everything, but he does NOT know everything. He doesn't have all the data.





Gale has a personal interest in this matter. Even if he is now more human, he still remains the coldest of them all. He is the opposite of Cielo.







Beck is not pleased. He hates Sera, for some reason.






That would certainly explain Gale's flashbacks. But why is he the only one that has them?
And why is he absent from the recording and Heat's depiction of Heaven (besides Heat being a complete asshole against Gale, that is)?



Well, that was unexpected.




She catches on fast, doesn't she?





And so, Varin Omega/Colonel Beck twitches and dies.







And his eyes go fully black. All pupil.







I shall assume that they ate him afterwards, explaining his absence from the floor.


"What does this mean? How much does he know!?"




"Sera's missing. We gotta find her, Serph."
Possessive much?




"Who devoured me, and... How?"
She didn't listen, did she? Beck said Serph did it.





"Did we really die once?"
All signs point to yes.

Sera is there. Problem, she is not pleased now.
She now knows things she would rather not. She was blocking many, many things, in order to have some semblance of happiness in the Junkyard.
She has realized how foolish that was.





She remembers.
And unlike Beck, she knows.
What does she know? That won't be revealed for quite some while.




And then, she is gone. She is in full control. Varin had the power of HAX, BUT that was nothing compared to what Sera can do. She is in control.






And there come the rest.



And a cat.




The only cat.
The cat will be very important. Why is there only one cat?





Cielo looks rather funny there.

And then, the rain stops.
The rain. One of the distinguishing features of the Junkyard, is now gone.
The cycle of souls has been stopped. All the Tribes have been united.






The Karma Temple is absorbing the clouds.



"But, we died in Nirvana, didn't we?
What is Sera's house doin' here, den?
We ain't in Nirvana. This don't make sense, mon."



"No... I want to remember."







This one does not comprehend.


"I've seen enough death."



"Please take us with you. I want to see my wife and daughter!"
