When we last saw Max, he had just woken up to the Gauntlet! Wait, no, wrong thread.

Alright, seriously. Gillian just saw two figures off in the distance.

MOVE > ADVANCE

Metal: All right, now moving ahead.

Gillian: A dead end? Then where did the SNATCHERS go?

LOOK > FRONT

Metal: It's blocked by a cave-in. We can't go any farther.

INVESTIGATE > FRONT

Metal: I don't see any way out from here.

INVESTIGATE > DIRT AND SAND

Metal: There's no way we could possibly move this out of the way.
Gillian: That's weird... Then where did those SNATCHERS go?
Metal: They definitely headed in this direction, didn't they?

INVESTIGATE > EXIT

Metal: There's no other way out of here. Unless they liquefied themsevles, they must have gotten out some other way.

Gillian sneezes.

Metal: Are you okay, Gillian?
Gillian: That's weird. I was fine until a moment ago...

Suddenly, we hear a faint beeping.

Metal: Please stay quiet.
Gillian: What's wrong, Metal?
Metal: Maybe it's a sensor defect, but I think I'm picking a sound off in the distance. Can you hear it, Gillian?
Gillian: That's odd. Seems like my ears are going out on me.
Metal: Maybe it's due to a chance in air pressure.

> RETREAT

Gillian: I can't hear a thing!
Metal: Quiet! There! Can you hear it?

> LISTEN

Metal: Listen! You can hear a sound like that of a timer.

Metal: All right, now moving back.
