Part 79

The Finn's meet some resistance in the north.



I force more men across the river, but cannot advance all that far.







9th Army smashes back units in two hexes – these are the same hexes I attack every week, as the Russians have no forts here.



4th Army continues their offensive, grinding forwards ten kilometres at a time.







I continue to push north, not making much ground, but stopping the Red Army from digging in.



South of Penza we make a little ground, but its mostly moving of troops around for the spring.



One of the Mechanized Corps, but the other one retreats into Saratov, forcing me to retake the city once more.



Along the Volga, the Russians fall back a little, so I move forwards a little.



I get men closer to Baku, I'm definitely going to need all these troops to crack this nut.









They hit one of our units near Tula with seventy five thousand men and over three hundred tanks, they fall back with heavy losses.



There seems to have been a massive redeployment of troops, but nothing to threatening.



Things are looking good around Moscow.







With no Russians trapped, I have only inflicted 68,000 casualties.



This maintains the Russians at the same levels as last week at least.



The replacements continue at the normal level.



The fuel supplies looks good, but I'd like a few more supplies in my units – there stocks are at about 2/3rds of their maximum levels.



I continue to push the edges of the Moscow Salient.
