It didn’t take more than a moment for Agaki to come to grips with the tactical implication. The lightest Clan ‘Mech wasn’t sticking around for a fight. It’d taken a few potshots and allowed some of its heavier lance mates to do the same; but it must’ve had a specific objective it wasn’t going to abandon simply because someone had fired at it.

“It’s making an end run,” the Colonel growled, “Is anyone in a position to intercept? It’s going after the artillery!”

“I’m surrounded! One is beyond the trees the other is on the ridge. I can’t hit it! Also, I think the big one’s not far behind!” Satomi paused only momentarily, “There is no escape for us; so we will hold them here. Tai-sa, I suggest you withdraw before they box you in.”
