Sludge Factory: Tactical Update 13

“I am so sick of fighting infantry,” Sergeant Wu growled as his driver brought the Partisan around. The turret’s heavy-duty stabilizers whined almost imperceptibly as they worked to keep the big guns perfectly level. The turret twisted, tracking the exhaust flares of the Clan’s frighteningly fast soldiers. They smashed through the ground-level doors of one of the modular worker-housing buildings without a moment’s hesitation and vanished inside.

“Fire,” Wu ordered. His gunner hesitated for a moment, then pulled the trigger.

Wu glared at his primary monitor as the Partisan’s shells struck the building’s laminated façade. He was going to get rid of the gnats even if he had to bring down the whole building to do it.
