Of the things that are new, the Cure Ring is kind of OK, the RunningShoes are useless, Imp Armor is also useless, and the Crystal Shield is pretty nice. The Super Ball is weird; it targets all enemies with random damage.

I don't think I've ever used one.




I go to the Veldt to pick up some Lores from Rages I know. See if you can guess which one is the best. A hint: it restores HP to the party equal to the caster's current HP.



I like the Auction House, it's just a shame how limited it is.



Two peas in a pod here. Zoneseek gives everyone Shell, Golem absorbs physical attack damage up to the caster's max HP. It covers the entire party but only up to that total.



Zoneseek is currently unequipable which is a shame as +2 Speed and Ice 3 sound delicious. Golem only has Rasp as a decent use and only Taiga can even equip it.



Garbage.



Fucking new money.



This guy sells you Sraphim for a lot of money. If you wait until the World of Ruin it only costs 10 GP. I bought it anyway. Life 2 is a big help and Osmose will do in a pinch, as it drains MP and gives it to the caster.



I went and checked out Triangle Island, where Intangr usually hangs.

These two are a poor replacement. I have a Wonder Gut and you don't see me bragging about it.



Alright, we're off to fight the...Imperial Air Force?



I can understand the flying Lotiena but how did a snake with tiny wings get up here? It's very rude to have that many hit points.

In The Navy

Love Token is something to be very concerned with, since Taiga likes to go on physical attack murder sprees. Lucky for me, Air Force never cast it.



Instead, I introduce it to overwhelming electricity.



This is basically the worst thing that happens.



The armaments go down quickly.



The Speck exists solely to Runic spells while Air Force counts down. Once it reaches 0 it uses Wave Cannon. I don't think I've ever seen it.




Mostly because it doesn't have a lot of HP.

FFFFFFFFFF I hate the Floating Continent. I didn't even get new music for it!



Gustmenh is the flying dinosaur. Both of these aren't that bad so if they're the most common fight I should be OK.

I don't remember the Dr. looking like this. Meteo and Cold Dust would not make a good children's book.



Entirely vanilla but double weapons will be super useful!



"Dies at 0 MP" is a dangerous thing to have when you're only at 100 MP.



I hate Imp Song but I love Haste. Shame it doesn't last between battles.



This sprite is never a good time. It's only the Floating Continent though, surely it can't be THAT bad!

Here we go. The final hurdle in a WoB run. The bane of many a permadeath run.



Treasure of the Rudras: The Spirit Chaser - AtmaWeapon gets its own fancy music. I think I prefer the original here.

If you watch the video, you may notice I left Taiga on a completely useless rage the entire time. There's a reason for that.



Golem will give me a slight amount of breathing room. It won't help with Fire Beam but luckily Pipimi happens to nullify Fire.



Overcast fucking sucks. It gives you a real short timer and when that runs out, whoever got hit becomes a Zombie. It is unblockable but can miss, and apparently a Revivify won't fix you after you become a Zombie!



Weird day when Flare is the least of your worries.



Pipimi went Z on us and Taiga stayed in that terrible Rage that did 600 damage on a physical but Minori kept pumping out the Bolt 3 and Goku helped with ?-Geo.

Oh, the reason I kept Taiga in that Rage? I simply wasn't paying that much attention as this was my SIXTH ATTEMPT. And this one still took over 11 minutes! Whoever asked me if the boss battles ever got hard, here's your monkey paw wish. It dropped a Tintinabar just to insult me one last time.

Ogre Battle: Battle Theme - I rented this game a lot at my grandparent's house but could never beat it. Or finish the game. This music also plays when I fight Nerapa.

Naughty has 99 problems and they're all a % chance for Ragnarok. I also pick up another FakeMustache along the way.



OK this is actually the last hurdle in a WoB run. Depending on what it rolls, you could be here a while.

Strangely, it only used Seize. Which only works on one person at a time. I'll hazard a guess that it can't do anything else while Seizing.
