Part 57: Haku-Men: Story 04

I am the white void. I am the cold steel. I am the just sword. With blade in hand shall I reap the sins of this world, and cleanse it in the fires of destruction. My past incarnation is no exception!
I am Hakumen. The end has come.


Of all the things you could possibly choose to explain you choose to shove this one down our throats? Really?


Turtle all day every day. Jin has better air stuff, but getting in on Hakumen is a little harder for him. His projectiles are also kind of slow and can easily be cut. This is a match where Hakumen can just play to his strength, wait for a lot of meter, and then go in for damage.

Because I couldn't find a good video of a good Hakumen fighting Jin, you can have this video of Spark and Walljumpman playing a mirror match. Spark happens to be the guy who won Evo 2011's BlazBlue tournament.

All right... He's probably heading for Kagutsuchi, but... My best chance is probably going to be when I retrieve him there...

At this point Hakumen rolls off to Kagatsuchi to kill Ragna for real.



Alright, let's go over this real quick. So we know that Jin becomes Hakumen. At the end of Jin's story you might recall Rachel popping in to ask Jin if he wanted to be a real hero. This means that, most likely, Rachel is responsible for putting him in that sweet armor and then...something. After Jin becomes Hakumen he then would have had to jump back into the past to fight the Black Beast, get stuck in whatever the Edge is, and then get dragged out by Kokonoe to present day.

We'll get more into how everyone else fits in after we finish the next and final character.

I might put his other ending up as a bonus, as it may technically be cannon but also doesn't tell us anything actually interesting.
