Part 23: Vacation, need a little sun; to break up all the frustration and turn it into love

~Update 11: Vacation, need a little sun; to break up all the frustration and turn it into love~

Round 2 voting has ended and we now have a small shake up in our focus heroines going forward.

1.

Feene was the dominant choice by a wide margin. I'm not overly surprised, but it is a little odd to see her rank so high above the others. I guess the thread wanted to include a route that seems like it might be a little more down to earth. No miracle concerts for little sick kids, or Church assassinations, or Grand Strategy Conferences. Just good old fashioned photography (so far), and maybe a little 'girls love' on the side. Nothing wrong with that.

Feene will be accompanying Wake into the story dungeon during this update. Given how popular she is (and how late she joins the cast), I felt it would be a little unfair to go in reverse order like I did last time. That would result in Feene not seeing action until the end of Chapter 6.

2.

The newly smug and jerky Narika maintained her spot in the rankings. Her sudden personality swing is either concerning people or making her a more attractive character, depending on how you feel about her. Is success going to her head? Or is she just a fucking master of deception that lulled Sasami into a false sense of security before pulling the rug out from under her at a clutch moment?

Narika will be going with Wake into the Chapter 5 story dungeon.

3.

Pop Star Chloe slipped from #1, but still managed to edge out 'Assassin's Creed: Ellie' and retain a spot. The thread seems to have a fondness for the currently suspended homeroom teacher, so we'll continue following the suddenly rocky idol career of Ms. Chloe.

Chloe will be going along with Wake into the Chapter 6 story dungeon.

So there are your (kind of) new Focus Heroines. The biggest surprise of this vote in my mind was Ellie. Apparently she lost a little bit of her luster once we finally found out what she was up to in her Church work. Alternatively, Feene siphoned off Ellie's votes to fuel her rise to #1. Alternatively alternatively, people just really hate Lucian and want no part of his crap.

Could be a little bit of all three, as well. Who knows. Other than that, Torri and Fuuko both picked up some decent support, while Serina's pool of supporters evaporated due to user BlazeEmblem discovering her horrible secret (she actually uses a gun weapon, just like every heroine). She was left with a single troll vote.

So guess what? That means Serina will be joining Wake for a little romp through a Sub-Labyrinth! She's going to aim for the coveted 'LP Ending' spot and try to win people over with her dungeon performance and route summary. She did manage to claw her way up to S Rank after all, so anything is possible.

As mentioned before, I will be going over every route at the end of the LP. In a highlight summary anyway. You'll get to find out what happens to everyone one way or another.

I have also remembered that I have missed some of the music tracks that play around Fort City. The dungeon music is largely forgettable (other than the main battle theme), but these ambient city tracks are pretty nice.

Routine in 366 Days - Plays a lot during some of the generic Sub-Events
Harvest Code - Plays in the Dorm Room a lot
Shop Show - Plays in the Shop

There's an extended version of the title screen music as well, but I can't post it yet since it spoils literally every ending CG. I'll post it when the LP wraps up because it's actually a really pleasant tune.

Before we get rolling, I have a few small highlights from Wake and Serina's jog through W.Wind Tunnel.

Couple of things about this screenshot. First of all, hidden traps are getting annoying common now. It's entirely possible to hit one, walk three steps, and run straight into another one. You can easily go through a dungeon losing more health to traps than the enemies. It happened to me on my second journey in here.

Why the second journey? That is answered by a certain quest enemy.

Namely, it's a group of big scary tough EXP pinata enemies. They appear here when you accept the quest "Serious Sagitta". BE CAREFUL WITH "SERIOUS" [ENEMY] QUESTS. Why am I giving you a warning for a game that has been a cakewalk so far?

That's why. Do not fuck with the Serious Quest enemies at this early stage of the game. They are powerful little bastards that can first turn kill your entire team.

Now, you could probably take them if you abuse the DLC EXP quest, but for the most part you'll want to avoid them for now. If you cannot take them on, then it's a good idea to cancel the quest before continuing in this dungeon. Otherwise these guys will prove to be dangerous obstacles as you explore.

Scary little buggers. Anyway, the rest of Wind Tunnel is comprised of enemies you've seen before. There might be some color variants kicking around, like this Ursulaam here, but none of them are really worth pointing out.

Honestly, there isn't much I can tell you guys about the recolor enemies. They just have slightly higher stats and maybe a higher tiered spell. The same strategies apply, which is to say you kill them in a few regular attacks, or you use your attack skills to kill them in one attack. Then you move on with your life.

Narika also sends us a message.

I'm sure you're fighting in the Labyrinth right now. You might think I'm a little strange to be thinking this... Especially while you're fighting so bravely... But I feel like I've become more confident since meeting you. I'm not exactly sure why, but whenever I talk to you... I feel as though I can go a little further than I normally do. Um, that's all I really wanted to say in this message. Please don't do anything that could put you at risk while you're in there. If you're ever hurt, I'll make sure to heal you. Please let me know. I'll be waiting for you to come back home safe. Sincerely, Narika.

I think you've gone plenty far enough Narika. Either way, it's nice of you to be supportive and concerned for Wake's well being, as opposed to going out and partying with friends like Fuuko.

Speaking of Fuuko, she wanted to redeem herself for that message.

To Wake: I'm sure you're in the Labyrinth with another girl right now... I bet she's much more competent than I am. I'll have to try harder. I know I'm not the greatest... But I will always strive to do the best I can to help you. I'm serious. It makes me feel bad if you're going to be the one protecting me all the time. I was given this holy power for a reason. I have to use it to bring the world peace. I'll be praying for your safe return. P.S. Take care of all the cute Star Children, too.

Fuuko, I like the determination, but the place it's coming from needs correcting. Gotta work on that self-esteem, girl. Not like you don't have sources to draw from when it comes to that. You're only an incredibly good looking S-Ranked Elite student that fights through hell using Warrior Spirit Children bestowed by God.

I mean, just look! Felicia thinks the world of you! Adorable. And don't just think she's flattering you because she's your Star Child. These kids are not afraid to speak their minds. Case in point:

That's cold, Aria.

That's all there is for W.Wind Tunnel. The 'boss' for this Sub-Labyrinth is just a group of color swapped varients of the blue ghost dudes from our first Sub-Labyrinth.

With that out of the way, I also take Torri into the other Sub-Labyrinth just to finish it off. I already explored it while showing off the EXP Sagitta, so the only thing left is to pop in and beat the boss.

The boss of this Sub-Labyrinth was just one of those golden skeletal ghosts accompanied by two of the blue variety. Boring.

Clearing the Sub-Labyrinths is a good idea though. One of the Star Children requires you to clear a certain number of them in order to unlock the class.

That will be for another Chapter though. Sloth has no Sub-Labyrinths.

Feene was incredibly popular in the vote, and it just so happens that this Labyrinth is basically built for her. Enemies are a mix of all four elements, which Dusk is super effective against.

At least she'll get to start strong. Let's hit it!

SGE Wave Change!

Wake, On The Air!

Iron-Blood Transformation!

-Sloth Labyrinth-

Wake, could I bother you for a moment?

Sure, what's up?

She's formed a team of Disciples to help test Neo Ether in the Dusk Circles.

*sigh* Of course she did. Let me guess, Chlotz and Alec?

Nah, it's not me.

Wait, if it's not you guys then who the hell is it? She didn't just grab some random Elites, did she?

They're special Disciples that don't normally attend the Academy.

She was super-excited to be able to go into a new Circle. She's like curiosity personified. And unfortunately, I'm left housesitting.

Sure, that's great. What does this have to do with our mission?

We've just confirmed that we can use Neo Ether to communicate with her. If the Chief runs into any trouble, we'll contact you. We'll let you know immediately if that happens. We'll be counting on you.

I'd prefer it if you didn't. If you think I'm going to drop everything and run to her rescue like I did with you, then you are sorely mistaken. Wake, out.

Such a pain in my ass. Every last one of them.

Oh well, at least she has some kind of protection with her. Unlike Mark. C'mon kids! Let's get this done before Ruby screws something up!

I see Ruby is totally pumped to dive into a Circle as long as she has some kind of muscle protecting her. God forbid she be put in any kind of real danger. Mark and his team though? Whatever.

Hell yeah, Feene. Break the walls down. Let's do this.

Sloth doesn't have much in the way of surprises early on. Just more of these giant armored rhino guys.

And wind versions of these guys. Creepy.

Some nice new equipment can be picked up as well. I don't mind taking a loss of 15 speed for a boost of 50 attack plus the passive chance to instant kill, even if said chance is probably incredibly low.

Torri also chimes in. The other heroines are getting awfully chatty lately.

I'm sending you this because I thought it would be a good change of pace for you. I'm making items right now in Magecraft Club to take in the Labyrinth. I was supposed to make a golem that chases after monsters... But what I actually made is only chasing me around instead. It's a pesky golem that keeps trying to spank me on my bottom. That's why I'm a little bit sad. But telling you this has made me feel better. I'm going to keep making golems. I'll keep trying harder and harder so I can be more useful to you. I hope you don't get sad in the Labyrinth. I hope you keep trying your best. I'll be cheering for you. Bye bye. - Torri

Well, at least she isn't starving or talking about how she's blown all her money. That's a start.

Upon reaching the fifth floor, we run into Dora the Dusk Explorer.

It's going fine. Not that I particularly care, but you do realize that the monsters in here are way stronger than the previous circles, right?

I'll be fine, thanks to Neo Ether and these kids. This is Rus...

Rus is the guy, Clau is the girl.

They don't speak much, but they're very reliable, so don't you worry about me.

Trust me. I am not.

You just keep doing your best at getting to the bottom of this Labyrinth.

I don't need you to explain that to me. Anyway, Mark was worried about you. So just keep your head on a swivel, for his sake.

Of course, I'll keep my eyes open.

At least Ruby doesn't need rescuing. Let's get some distance from her before that changes.

More 'trap' enemies. Which means awesome EXP. Sweet.

Something else that starts appearing from now on are Locked chests. They look like Trap chests, but require a skill or item to open. Felicia already has the Lockpick skill however, so I can just open these bad boys as I please.

Everybody was Kung-Fu Fighting.

Upon entering the sixth floor, we get greeted by this mid-boss. He has a Lab Quest attached to him as well, which you should probably do.

Chlotz warns us that this guy can use powerful Aqua attacks and attacks that cause Panic. Good for him.

I actually get a little too eager and nearly kill him before I get a shot of his stats. I guess my brain had just been running on auto-pilot.

Zectagalum is a speedy boy and has the third tier Aqua spell. This and the gold snake monster spells can actually hurt quite a lot. Team B took a major hit from a Dual Blaze.

Ouch. Granted, none of these teams are really built for tanking Magic attacks. They have some decent MDF, but their main focus is on physical stuff.

After taking him down, we quickly move on. I finally swap out Wake's DLC weapon with something else as well. He loses the Critical+, which is really useful, but the new weapon has a chance to Paralyze instead. I mostly just wanted to change up the look. Unlike the girls weapons, Wake's will actually change appearance.

After ten damn floors of this dungeon, we finally reach the portal for the boss. It took like 35 minutes for me to get through this in one non-stop run. And that was with me avoiding most of the enemies and taking the portals as soon as I discovered them.

Wake, sir. That appears to be the Dusk Spawner for this Circle.

This is the first boss we've encountered with the Dusk element. Not only can it make attacks that hit all of you, but it can increase Dusk Density. But don't forget that Ether element attacks are useful against Dusk element monsters! Be careful, Wake!

Great advice Chlotz. If only we had someone on the team that had Ether element attacks. That's not exactly an easy to access element. I'm not even entirely sure that you can get Ether element attacks at this stage of the game.

No worries. Let's go everyone!

Okay, so Belphegor here is actually a boss worth watching out for. It has formidable defenses, both physical and magical. It is also a boss that can use Dusk Release, which is the opposite of Wake's Ether release. Dusk Release will let bosses reduce the Ether density gauge and erase your speed boost.

It being Dusk element is also dangerous, since your Star Children will be basic element types.

Tri-Onslaught is Wake and Feene's Seventh Burst. It's actually a little disappointing in my mind. They just weirdly fly around each other in a straight line and slash the enemy.

The damage is fairly impressive though. It also gives us an idea of how much HP Belphegor is rocking. Seems to be around 20k or so.

Dusk Release hurts by the way, and unlike Monokuma, Belphegor has the MP to keep hitting you with it. Wake and Feene hold out okay, but that's because Feene is Dusk element herself. This would have hurt a lot more if we took one of the other heroines with us.

I have Team B MECUNITE here for a particular reason. On top of giving them full HP and making them sturdier, it gives them access to Master Heal which is a 100% full party restore.

It's still too early for that though. I hit it with Code TEC instead and manage to reduce Belphegor's TEC, for whatever difference it makes.

Belphegor hits with a standard attack next, which still hits everyone kind of hard, but not nearly as much as Dusk Release. A Dusk Release here probably would have taken out one or two of the individual Star Children.

Now I pop the Master Heal. Belphegor gets one more basic attack in, then is taken down by some standard attacks by everyone.

The battle isn't overly difficult, but you may need to be careful of HP levels during the fight. Dusk Release is kind of difficult to guard against since your Star Children are basic elemental and the AI just throws it out at random, usually whenever you manage to build the Ether Density. If you are somehow having trouble with it, then maybe bring along a Cleric/Warlock or turtle up whenever you need to heal.

The real kicker here is that we aren't finished with this dungeon yet.

All sealed away. We're heading back now.

Sorry, Wake, but hold on a moment. Chief Ruby still hasn't returned yet.

She's still in the Labyrinth, so what? That doesn't sound like a 'me' problem.

Worse yet, we lost contact with her almost an hour ago. The Neo Ether supply she has must be running low by now. I'm getting worried. Can you look for Ruby and her team?

What a pain...

Wake, sir. We cannot leave our comrades behind. We must search for them.

'Comrade' is a strong word, Feene. This is Ruby we're talking about. Honestly, this whole Dusk Circle thing would probably go a lot smoother if we just left her here.

But I can't really say no when you're looking at me like that.

We'll look for them on the way out, Mark. I can't make any promises that we'll find them though.

Excellent. Let us be on our way.

*After meandering around for a bit*

Huh? Is that Ruby over there?

Ruby! Get your ass over here!

Oh, Wake. What are you doing here?

Chief Ruby! We lost contact with you.

It's all right, the God Brace functions just fine. It just ran out of Neo Ether.

That is the opposite of "all right", Ruby. You can't use Star Energy anymore. You're going to get torn apart if you don't leave.

He's right. Please join his team so we can extract you.

Look at this, Mark! I've never seen a cluster of Dark Crystals this large!

Those are all Dark Crystals?

No. Both of you stop right now. Do not--

It's as Enzea said after all.

*The screen rumbles*

Wh-What the...?

...Be cautious.

Oh, great job Ruby! Way to go!

You two stay back. We'll deal with this.

...Is that so?

Go on, then.

According to the Vis-o-matic, there's a high concentration of Dusk Energy there! It's likely that your Ether Count won't increase like you'd want it to! Be careful, Wake!

Thank you, Chlotz.

Why did that sound sarcastic?

Because it was. Now let me focus.

That's right, it's a back-to-back boss fight (sort of). This is the reason I healed up in the last battle. Technically you could just pop the MECUNITE right now and full heal as well. You've probably even got a high enough BP max at this point to be able to do it twice in one dungeon.

Dusk Eater is not as threatening as Belphegor was. It has no magic or Dusk Release nonsense and it's HP is closer to that of a Regred. That being said, it still has really good defense.

It can also still do a wide-ranging attack that deals a fair amount of damage.

He also gives out more EXP than the actual story boss. Again, not really all that scary, but it is something to keep in mind when you are fighting Belphegor.

....

Shut it, Ruby! Ngh... my headache is getting worse...

We're getting out of here, now.

They'll attract monsters, you idiot! I am not picking up those damn things again!

Chief, give it up!

No! I can't leave this wealth of potential knowledge behind!

Something's not right with the Chief. I think the Dark Crystals are affecting her. Bring her back by force if you need to!

Yeeesssss... I can do that...

You heard Mark, kids! By force.

By force...

Um... sir? Must you--

Shh, shh, shhhh.... Let me have this...

Mark maybe should have chosen his words a little more cautiously.

-Laboratory-

I'm sorry...

I didn't think that the Dark Crystals would have that much of an effect on me.

It's fine. I was angry, but it all melted away during the trip out.

You took far too much pleasure in dragging me out of there...

Oh no, I took exactly the appropriate amount of pleasure. I assure you.

I'm so happy for you.

According to our measurements, there was a density of Neo Ether approaching 70%. That is, 70% of the Ether Density created from the God's Gift.

Wake, once the Neo Ether project is completed, your burden will be lightened. Just hang in there a little longer.

I'll believe it when I see it. So far all it's done is increase my burden.

Still, I feel very invigorated after having spent some time in that space.

It must be the effects of the Dark Crystals.

Excuse me?

There's nothing wrong with coming along with me to dinner, is there?

I'm... still not sure what you're asking me for.

Normally I'd say Mark was being incredibly dense, but honestly I'm not entirely sure which way Ruby is going with this either. This is kind of a dicey situation for Mark.

You won't join me?

I will if you order me to.

Oh, is that so? Well, it's on me tonight.

Yes, Chlotz. Yes it was. That poor gullible bastard. At least he seems into it.

If he's alright with it, I guess it's okay...

Speaking of being okay with it, how come you're smiling? I figured you'd be grossed out or something.

Normally I would, but this is all just leverage that I have to use against her if she ever crosses me again.

You are a scary dude sometimes.

And that's the end of Chapter 4! It totally is! Pay no attention to any pictures you may scroll past after this point!

-Serenity Chamber/Old Schoolhouse-

Yeah, that's right. We're doing this now.

Don't you think it's a good idea to go swimming on a hot day like this?

We can't use the Academy pool, though.

Huh? Why not?

The monthly maintenance is being done. All facilities are unavailable for now.

That's why none of the clubs are meeting today. Not even the student council!

*Chloe rolls in to the scene*

Hey Chloe. Had some time to kill?

I came by to hang out, too.

It's not very often that everyone gets together to hang out like this.

Well, if there's nothing to do, I might as well go home. I need to help out at the cafe, too.

There's always the public pool in the city.

I'm totally up for that!

I wasn't expecting you to bring up that idea.

I've been non-stop since I got here, some relaxation would be nice. I'm sure everyone else feels the same.

You're right! Let's get going!

-Shopping Mall-

Hey, you girls are gonna choose swimsuits for Serina and Miss Beautiful now, right? C'mon, you gotta let us guys give some input, too.

Not gonna happen! We're going to head to the store, so you two need to stay here.

We'll give detailed and helpful advice!

Wha-- We don't need advice like that! We aren't dress-up dolls!

Besides, girls give better advice at this sort of thing than guys can.

Just go, already. We'll wait here.

Hey! Are you seriously going to let this opportunity slip through our fingers!?

I'd like to get to the pool sometime today. Besides, unless those swimsuits come with transformation sequences then I'm generally uninterested in advice giving.

What!? But...

Yes! That would be hilarious! Also a little disturbing, but mostly hilarious.

Fine, whatever... I'll wait here...

There are so many colors... My eyes are starting to hurt.

Heehee! A girls-only shopping party is kind of fun.

We'd better hurry and make our selections before the guys outside get impatient.

If you could all give me some advice on what to wear, it would be very helpful. I don't usually have the opportunity to buy things such as this...

Well, let's get going, then. Today's mission: find swimsuits for Feene and Serina!

Mm... I am all ears.

Let's get this over with quickly, Feene.

I feel bad for making everyone wait for us, too. Well, then...

Um... How about this for me?

Whoa... You found one already?

Wow, that looks nice.

Mmhmm, I think it would look good on you.

Oh yeah, everyone else is here too. They've just been kinda quiet up until now.

I think this is a cute swimsuit, too.

Ooh... That really is cute.

It's a little flashy, but I think you'll be able to pull it off!

Hm? You do? Then how about this one?

Oh, that one's nice too.

I believe anything would look nice on you, Feene.

Hmm, I'm not sure which to choose...

Why don't you try them all on?

That's a good idea. I'll go to the dressing room, then.

*Feene heads off to be fabulous*

So, did you find any that you like, Serina?

Anything's fine for me, really... Well, how about this one?

Yeah, something with more vivid colors.

Huh? Really? How about this one, then?

Isn't that one a little too childish?

Yes... You'll want something with a little more definition.

Seriously? ...Then, what about this?

Um, that's a bit...

What about this one?

Umm... I'm not too sure.

Th-Then, how's this!?

Lame.

WHAT!?

Oh dear god, just pick a damn swimsuit!

I'm terribly sorry for making you wait. Whew... There are so many to choose from. Isn't it difficult to make a selection from all of these, Ms. Serina?

Uhh, Ms. Serina?

Yeah, picking just one is really hard...

Heeeeeeey, aren't you ladies done yet?

We told you to wait outside!

Hurry it up, then. The pool's gonna close.

Seriously, what's the hold up?

Hrgh... Which one am I supposed to get!?

The one you're holding right now is cute. Go with it.

Huh? Really?

Yeah, it's adorable, Serina!

Y-You think so? Then, I guess I'll go with this one...

Good, Serina's done. Feene, let's get this show on the road.

Miss Beautiful, the one in your left hand looks cool. It'd look great on you.

But... That's the one they said was too flashy...

And they are correct.

I think it would look good on you, Feene. You can pull it off.

I-Is that so? Then, I will choose this one...

Cool, we're done. See how easy that was? Now let's get a move on.

That went on way longer than it needed to.

A cutscene approaches from the horizon! It contains a lot of bouncing, and swimsuits, and Feene shows a lotta ass at one point. NSFW tag on this all the way. You have been warned. Reinforce my point, TCG!
Pool Party - Check out the cutscene

Let's get it over with.

These screenshots will be very selectively chosen for the purposes of the LP.

Fuuko, Ellie, and Serina all breaking a ton of pool rules here. No running! You'll break your necks!

Chloe is presumably yelling at them about the same thing. Also, she nearly clocks herself in the face with her own chest.

It saddens me that her swimsuit is somehow almost more conservative than her battle costume. She just stands out so much compared to the others.

Narika and Feene stroll by, bouncing the entire way. The revelation that breasts come in various sizes seems to confound Torri.

Fuuko and Ellie are having a good time.

Feene's swimsuit is definitely flashy, as the girls stated.

Serina takes a beach ball straight to the face.

Narika apparently makes the save.

Chloe is sprawled out on the chair back there and there's no way for me to screencap it to an acceptable level.

And everyone has fun in the pool. Except for Wake and Chlotz apparently, who are nowhere to be seen throughout that entire cutscene.

Also, this is the public pool? What kind of pristine public pool, located in the middle of a city, is that empty during a hot summer day?

-Downtown-

Pool party is over now. Everyone who flicked past it and is now gingerly scrolling up to read the rest of the update can pick things up from here.

Ah, that was fun! Going to the pool is the best part about summer!

Got that right. I really needed that.

Hey, Wake. I'm going to do my best to become an A Rank when the next Rank Exam comes around.

And when I make A Rank, I'm thinking of asking her out on a date.

"Her"? You mean Luce?

Yeah. So root for me, okay?

Well, well. Look at the balls on you. I can't even bring myself to tease you about it. That takes guts.

How about you? Haven't you gotten closer to anyone in our group?

It's kind of part of my job, Chlotz.

C'mon, you gotta be at least curious about one of the girls.

Well... there might be someone.

I'm not surprised. I mean, you're surrounded by a bountiful bevy of beauty, after all.

Huh!? Oh damn it. That figures...

Hey, everyone... What's going on?

I see. So that's what you've been thinking.

I think they heard you.

Yeah, I wonder whose fault that was?

Well, guess I'll see you back at the Academy!

*Chlotz fucking books it*

Get back here, Chlotz!

At this point we get another "Choose one girl" option for Wake. Feene won the vote by a landslide, so we'll be picking her this time.

Excuse me, sir. Do you know of a place around here where I can eat dinner? I won't be eating at the dorm tonight.

Hm? Oh, Feene. Uh, yeah. I know a few places. Do you mind if I tag along though? Kind of hungry myself.

Not really. Let's just wander around and see what's out there.

Yes. Let's go find a good restaurant.

-Restaurant-

It's a chain place. You okay with that?

I'm fine.

There's a lot on the menu. And I've never been in a restaurant like this.

Oooooooh... What's a drink fountain? Does it spray juice out of a statue's mouth?

No, it's just a dispenser where you select the kind of drink you want.

I see. I will pick that, since I'm thirsty from swimming.

And I think I will order the kid's meal.

You know the kid's meal is for kid's, right?

Is that so?

Ohh... But I was looking forward to trying all that different food...

Well, we can ask about ordering it I suppose.

O-Okay. Maybe it will work if we say that we're children... After all, we aren't entirely adults.

Kind of a grey area. Never know unless you try.

I understand.

*And so they made a polite inquiry*

They... They yelled at us.

Not sure what their problem was. I've got money. Do they not want it or something? Snobbyiest chain restaurant I've ever seen.

I suppose I will have to give up on that idea.

Too bad. Let's just grab something else.

What kind of crap-shack is that place anyway? It's none of your damn business what kind of food they want to eat. If the customer has money and you've got it on the menu, then you give them what they order.

-School Route-

Phew... I'm quite full.

Well, I swam a lot today, so this balances my calorie count. A post-dinner stroll will do just fine.

I'm sorry for making you do this.

Don't apologize. I was hungry too. Besides, it's nice to get a peaceful moment to talk with you a bit.

*giggle* Everything is so new to me here.

But in the end, places with a lot of green like this calm me down.

Sounds pretty relaxing. Not that the city isn't, necessarily. There are a lot more things to do here.

I agree.

I would like to know more about this town.

Sure. Sounds like a plan.

That was a nice way to bring Chapter 4 to a close. Also we're past the pool thing now, so that's the last of that anime craziness. No hot springs trip in here (not in the main story anyway).

Now that we have our focus heroines sorted out, we can get back to rolling through the story. Next time we get cracking on Chapter 5, then we have some catching up to do with Feene. Okay, actually a LOT of catching up to do with Feene.
