Introduction

Description
In a world of renaissance meets steampunk, stealth or magic are key elements. Play style can be incredibly varied in a world of multiple approaches and goals.

You are the once-trusted bodyguard of the Empress. Framed for her murder and driven by revenge, you must become an infamous assassin, known only by the disturbing mask that has become your calling card. As you navigate a world torn apart by plague and oppressed by a government armed with strange new technologies, the truth behind your betrayal is as murky as the waters surrounding the city.

Style
The game can be played non-lethally or as a master assassin, and I will be using a combination of these techniques - hopefully enough of a mix that I will be able to show off all four(?) of the endings. The plot actually branches in multiple ways, and I'll try to explain each as we encounter them. It won't be a 100% playthrough since I like to keep the story moving, but should give you a very good feel for the game.

Schedule
I will be posting one episode per week, Wednesday evening (CST). This will not interrupt my currently running Deus Ex: Human Revolution series (Mon/Fri).

Feedback/Suggestions/Participation
I love feedback - even negative comments are appreciated, that's how I improve. If you want to see something specific definitely mention it ahead of time. I'm planning my route ahead of time, so there won't be much backtracking.

Spoilers
Please use the spoiler tags if you're unsure if something is a spoiler. As I mentioned in the video I won't be sticking completely to the game for overarching details, so I'll leave it up to your judgment whether you still want to tag details I've talked about.

The first hour or so of this game tends to be relatively linear, then it branches out and gives you quite a bit more goal choice. I consider this an extended, but nicely done tutorial (with plenty of important plot details in it). I've obviously turned off all tutorial prompts to make it more immersive.
