Part 259: Extras - Songs of my People - Part 1
Happy holidays everyone!
Please enjoy this song of my people.
Hinnoms King Hippo looked out
While eating a heathen
Desert sand lay round about
Deep and rough and even
Brightly shone the moon that night
Though the frost was cruel
When a blood slave came in sight
Gath'ring winter fuel
"Hither, Melqart, stand by me
If thou know'st it, telling
Yonder virgin, who is he?
Where and what his dwelling?"
"Sire, he lives a good league hence
In his mothers basement
Always causing great offense,
To his dads replacement."
"Bring me flesh and bring me wine
Bring my blood thorn hither
Thou and I will see him dine
When we bear him thither."
Melqart and King forth they went
Forth they went together
Through the Pazuzu's wild lament
And the bitter weather
"Sire, the night is darker now
And the wind blows stronger
Fails my heart, I know not how,
I can go no longer."
"Mark my ring of frost, good page
Put it on quite boldly
Thou shalt find the winter's rage
Freeze thy blood less coldly."
With his master's ring he trod
Where the sand lay dinted
Heat was in the very sod
Which the King had printed
Therefore, Rephaim, be sure
Blood magic possessing
Ye who sacrifice the poor
Spread the Kings good blessing
