Part 82: The Seventh Floor: BRIDGE
Besides a nice speed boost from her Secret Clothes, Rafa can also put on some nice shoes.
I think this is Eldena getting it?
It is a serious matter, because Bridge is uncomfortably boring compared to the previous floors. It doesn't do anything interesting geographically and the two items are boring as hell.
Worst of all it preceeds Voyage which has very interesting shit.
A level 72 archer, huh?
Not surprising.
The two big lumps of land in the middle aren't anything unusual compared to the maps outside the Deep Dungeon, and this is one reason why Bridge is so uninteresting.
That bigger one that the group is hidden behind has the two items that are new at least.
Balls!
Might as well cover the party in Protect, then.
And thank goodness Eldena doesn't even move anymore. They just put her on a little cart and wheel her into position.
Dang!
I don't want her to revive enemies.
Ass!
Finally, dammit.
Let's just blow her to pieces and get out.
Norma has more MP than HP as a Wizard now. Oddly enough, Eldena stays away from the front lines and casts dozens and dozens of spells and she has higher HP and lower MP than Norma.
I blame Norma's stint in Summoner.
Anyway, on to the second fight here.
This bull is going to be dealing about 600 damage an attack. With 30 PA after a Gather Power and 68 Brave, Shake Off will deal 612 exactly, in fact.
I am not particularly concerned.
9 speed and haste leads somewhere and guys have 11 speed and they're somewhere else but it means I can use CT 3 Holy and hit them and only hit, like, Beowulf on my side.
It works out pretty well.
Rafa can jump up there with only 4 jump, I hear. I don't feel like finding out because Rafa having 5 move is a magic dream.
Oh joy it's a staff worse than the Mace of Zeus.
That 612 Shake Off, thankfully, is blocked by Agrias's cool shield.
It's actually worse than the Iga Knife from Mlapan!
Well shit, I'm out of actual weapons? With those two?
BULL REMOVAL IS GO!
The description is supposed to be ironic, but it acutally is indicative of how terrible the Sage Staff is, especially compared to the Mace of Zeus from way back when.
Well it's 5% less weapon evade than the Iga Knife, but the point remains that I got the Koga Knife after the other one, and it isn't even pretending to not be better.
But Voyage is next, and Voyage is a wonderful lot of fun.
