Part 90: Graveyard of Airships

Ramza will stick with his ol' reliable spear for one more battle.

Of course, they shove Ramza in the free space in front.

Well, welcome to the final map!

Vormav kneels over the unconcious body of Alma in the middle of the airship...

Vormav uses the Leo stone to become a demon!

...The Regulator, Hashmalum!

Alma's got auto-dead.

His other command is Dimension Magic, which includes Melt, Tornado, and Quake, three powerful elemental spells, and Meteor from Time Magic.

He's also really fast.

This map has the machine tiles that Lava Ball claims exist.

Along with Deck, since you don't fight on boats otherwise.

Hashmalum is simply too far away for a Teleport to work in one turn.

That, and getting him with Math Skill without nuking my own party is being marvelously hard.

And then he does this.

He gets Agrias and Ramza with it, so it's down to a pair of Wizards and a Temple Knight to KO a Zodiac Demon without two of my damage dealing guys.
That and Ramza doesn't get a turn so he can't chat with a demon:

Luckily, Hashmalum has little HP.

Unluckily, Drain misses.

Well fine, here's a Muramasa that can't miss!

He then casts a huge spell of some kind.

Phooey, I was hoping I'd see his other spells.

Drain hits this time.

Fuck it, I'll just cast Flare manually.

And another Muramasa!

Meteor's incantation.

It hits mildly hard. Especially on Hashmalum.
Especially on Hashmalum!
...It kills him. He kills himself.

I am not joking.

Alma begins to stir!

Hashmalum sinks his own claws into his own chest!

And, of course, explodes.

It was apparently enough, as Virgo begins to glow!

Alma is no longer there, as in her place stands...
