Part 12: .5: Status update!
10.5: Status update!
Thanks to Shiva and Fire Rod boosted Firas, killing whole groups of nakks is trivial.
So here's the team's current stats.
Burtz is focusing on physical classes. I need someone to hit things until the explode.
Lenna's alternating between Blue and Black mages. I'll get her either !Time or !Red.
Galuf is just monking things until they die. Having a bucket of HP helps this cause. !White is just there because I can't think of anything else.
!Summon is amazing and will remain so for the rest of the game. !White has Raise and Cura now, so actually healing the team isn't an impossible dream.
Current White magic collection. Basically Cura and Raise and filler.
Current Black magic collection. The ~ra spells beat summons on single targets, at least.
Current Time magic collection. Slow on a single boss is like Haste on the whole team! Other than that, it's a collection of gimmick spells.
Summons. I'll get more, I swear.
Spellblading is something I have yet to explain.
You see, Mystic Knights can use these spells to augment their attacks. Casting Thunder spellblade means their attacks deals extra damage when the enemy is weak to lightning, while Silence means that every attack will try to inflict silence, which prevents spellcasting.
Most bosses have some elemental weakness, and hitting those with a good ol' spellblade can really hurt.
There are 27 different Blue magics, and I currently have 4. It takes a while, okay? These things are pretty well spread out through the whole game. The one not on screen is Vampire.
Anyway, that's how everyone is currently doing. I'm about to embark on the Fire Ship and question the technology level of Burtz' world here.
