You know what? I'm going to use magic on it.



The sand worm has an annoying gimmick: He pops out of holes at random.

Hit the wrong hole, and someone gets hit with a Demi. Sometimes, he switches holes after you've targeted him. I hate this asshole for that reason.

Of course, having Aqua Rake on hand makes this fight trivial.

Auqa Rake is not water elemental-it lacks an element at all. Instead, it deals simply inane amounts of damage to desert type enemies.

The worm spends a moment, check his pile of scripts, going through all the checks...

Then promptly dies, having taken 157% of his HP in a single spell.

Go me.



Finally, the guys leave me alone.

The desert takes you along certain paths which lead you to your southern goal.

Whatever.

Sand Bear is eternal. Sand Bear is the truth in all our souls.

After the big desert, here is a smaller, relatively immobile desert.

Jachol and Gohn have some novel encounters, but I really don't care for the effort/reward ratio.
