Part 34: Naval Warfare for Dummies
Chapter 32: Naval Warfare for Dummies

Here's Surgate's fleet, ready to run ashore several miles away from Exdeath's castle and fall flat against the barrier.
...Xezat knows that's there, right?

The wind drake lands on the ship.

So we do.

And soon enough, something does happen.

And so, we set off to completely repel the attack.

Dude's on the stern!

Surgate's soldiers die as easily as Bal's!

Xezat takes the fight away from us, leaving us with gooks.

Gobbledygooks in particular. They have 1,000 HP, so Thief Faris still kicks their asses, even without Titan!

Xezat's not having an easy time! Let's take out the commander, fast!

...Don't tell me.

First off, Gilgamesh now has really nice equipment to steal. The Genji Gloves are really strong gloves that prevent toad and paralysis.

Second, Golem prevents most of Gligamesh's damage.

Third, White Wind is pretty awesome.

It's Gilgamesh' faithful sidekick, Enkidu!

Enkidu immediately casts White Wind, healing Gilgamesh for 4,000 HP.

However, since he only has 4,000 HP and some lesser Blue magics, he drops like a sack of lead.

Poison Rods are only useful for boosting Bio.

Rods Broken: 19
I mean, this sucks compared.

See? Here's Bio with the rod.

And with that, Gilgamesh goes down.

Gilgamesh tries to fling Galuf in the ocean, but he holds on tight!

And so Galuf doesn't drown.

Eleven defense from the gloves themselves. They weigh a fuckton, but that's the price to pay for this much defense and some status protection.

After the battle, we find Xezat in this hold.

Together, they reveal this hole, and...

...Precision-welded steel again?

We're in a submarine. A fucking submarine.
NEXT TIME:

A virtual genocide of Reflect Knights!
