Part 49: Aerodynamic-Hydrodynamic-Pressure-Resistant-Wooden-And-Welded-Steel Propeller Boat
Chapter 46: Aerodynamic-Hydrodynamic-Pressure-Resistant-Wooden-And-Welded-Steel Propeller Boat

The airship hangar or whatever it is is still inky blackness and Ronkan machinery.

As satisfying as it would be to extirpate Poltergeists with a quick !Rapidfire, I simply do not have time for the Fire-powered ship.

Ever since the worlds merged, Cid's been spinning on this wheel. Poor Cid.

This poor chap has been stuck on a wheel for days and days.

Mid, however, was fine that whole time and didn't do shit. Mid doesn't get any pity.

Cid, Cid, Cid, Cid, Mid, Mid, Mid, and Mid somehow give the airship submarine functionality.

It turns out the deep sea looks exactly the same as it did in Galuf's world. There's a few points of interest besides the obvious tablets.

In the sound (I think is the proper term) by Karnak...

Is a small cave.

Well now you know.

Hey! Guess what's underwater up north of Walse!

The Walse tower, of course.

As the Walse tower is now underwater, there is water everywhere. Burtz is not a fish, so he can't breath in the water.

7 minutes to get to the bottom and back.

There are random encounters, of course. These things are incomprehensible shadows, or maybe just Burtz's eyes hurt from the salt water. I've already escaped at least 260 times by now, so what's an extra 10 times?

If you, somehow, by the wiles of Satan, need extra time.

A quick jog. The Walse tower wasn't that long, really.

By 'imitate your every move' he means 'hit for 9999 when struck.' He casts Flare, Holy, or Meteor in response to magic. Hit him for 14000 damage at once and he just gives up on mimicry and starts doing things like triple-casting Meteor and stuff in an effort to end you.

The solution is to defend and defend.

He then throws himself into the Rift.

But we get this job! It's very, very, very special, and I'll show you why... eventually!

Besides Moore's perpetual dot, the only other spots in the sea are the next to tablet locations. I always take the Great Sea Trench before Istory Falls, because it's mentioned first in the book.

Until then, grind. We need a lot of money to get some necessary articles.
NEXT TIME:

WHAT ARE THESE THINGS?!
