So the Ship Graveyard. I run from every encounter in order to make things a bit more interesting.

No reason to avoid the map, and there is also another Phoenix Down right past it.


Also I beat Siren in one hit

Faris' insults are pretty amazing.


So for some reason I decided I wanted to fight Magissa normally until Forza appeared. However, Trump only has enough HP to take 3 spells, and Drain will kill him instantly.


Also being only level 6 doesn't help at all for damage.


So I just hit the big red button.

Lenna almost dies again, but we get a dragon!


The first stop is Tycoon Castle.


While here, we engage in some hilarity... or something.


Agreed.


Our first katana, Ashura is going to be our best weapon for the rest of World 1.


I also loot the rest of the castle and sell off the useless stuff (Ethers, Gold Needles, Phoenix Downs, and gear I can't use).


Ashura hits about 3 times as hard as the dagger did, and it can crit. Good times.


And now to get a very special piece of equipment.


Welp. Jackanapes is fast enough to always get back attacks, and hits for about 200 damage, which is more than Trump has at the moment.


Trump does have Shirahadori and a shield, so he can sometimes last long enough to escape.


Also in case you were curious like me, Jackanapes has really high defense for this point in the game, so Zeninage does nothing.


After several deaths, I grind up to level 9 in order to be able to take a single hit.


Oops, the treasure I want was on the other side.

SEVERAL DEATHS LATER...


Yes! The Elven Mantle gives a 33% chance to dodge physicals. This stacks with both Shirahadori and a shield, making Trump very hard to hit.


Also you get to wave it around like a bullfighter. Trump managed to dodge 6 attacks in a row before being allowed to escape.


Phew. Safe at last.

I was so upset with Jackanapes that I went to go destroy Shiva for no reason. She decided to Blizzara Trump in the face, killing him instantly. Oh well.


While climbing the tower, this jerk managed to Stop me twice and then used Slow.





AWWW YEAH


Who needs Mineuchi anyway? DOUBLE MONEY POWER


Then I reach Garula. All of his stuff is physical, so I avoid using Zeninage because I can. Both Rushes get dodged, and the hits that do land do very little through the Iron gear.


Then Garula gets critted, finishing him off.

Goodbye Mime crystal, you will never be seen again.


And there goes the Tower. Also Syldra saves everyone and then dies or something.
