Last time, we ended up inexplicably appearing at Tycoon.


Faris isn't one for playing princess.


I mean sure she can look the part, but then she'll just yell out something about Neptune's Beard, and everything gets very awkward.


Anyway, rude dancers are blocking us, so we're just going to abandon the princesses.


i forgot that you can find Koko in World 2 on Catoblepas' island. Bartz won't ride her because she's female though.


So then we fall into the antlion lair.


Fortunately he only manages to land one Dischord.


Even so, Zeninage is hamstrung by it a bit.

Oh, hello again. Good thing the Aegis Shield stops Break.


The chest drops the best armor money can buy. Neat.


Hooray, our ticket to a really good weapon.


Hiryu kills itself and we have to fight a naked lady with snakes.


Melusine has 90 defense. I tried for criticals, but no luck.


Her spells also hit pretty hard.


However, she uses Barrier Change and switches to the form with 0 defense. It only takes a couple of hits to take her out.

I sell off all the stuff that was picked up in the Pyramid and Exdeath's Castle, and end up with a hefty amount of cash.


Then we get on the airship, Lix gets destroyed, etc.


First order of business is to use the tablet to get a great katana.


Look at that difference in damage. The Masamune also causes Trump to start fights with a full ATB, and it can be used to caste Haste when not wearing the Hermes Sandals.


The Assassin's Dagger is nowhere near as strong as the Masamune. It can cast Death, but I don't really know of any situations where Iainuki wouldn't also work. At the very least, it sells for 10,000 gil.


This just sells for 10,000 gil. I couldn't use any of the other weapons anyway.


Pictured, a few losers I won't be fighting. Wendigo is just annoying, and I would have to deal with Omniscient before being able to handle the other two, which I am absolutely not doing. Plus there is nothing I realy need from any of those places.


Hell yeah I am!


Eh. I could have sworn I had run away more than that. Oh well.


Finally, I hit up Phantom Village for the Hermes Sandals and a Crystal Helm.


And with that, it's time for the Void.


Again, most encounters are vulnerable to Iainuki, but the enemies can actually do about 1,000 damage if they hit.


Good job idiot, you got killed by a tiny man.


No thanks.


I messed up and forgot to equip the Bone Mail the first time. She can be nasty with her constant Drain counters and her ability to Old you, killing your offense.


However, Bone Mail gets rid of all that junk. She really can't do anything with it equipped.

Nope. Omega has 190 defense, which means Zeninage will NEVER hurt it. Even if I could fish for Critical hits, I would have to deal with his powerful attacks and his ability to just erase me from existence.


Instead, I go and deal with the much more manageable Apanda.


Him Confusing me did the most damage out of anything. He goes down like a wimp.
