Part 129: Low-Level Run - Chapter 11

Oh hey, new page.

Last time:

I think this is an apt metaphor for SOMETHING in there.

Once again, saving gil.

Okay!

Haste will never wear off naturally.

After that it's a combination of Trine and Right Arms. The arena lets you use your items.

It didn't really seem to hurt after Haste.

Blappo!

Softs can cure slow-numb before it petrifies. Unfortunately I died there. This took a lot of tries.

I'm not in this for the BP.

I don't HAVE summon materia equipped.

The Golem didn't move very fast or hit very hard. Right Arms did the opposite.

Oh no not my already tiny level.

I'm not even sure what this is, just it's dying.

This round has an enemy that can inflict stop. getting immunity to stop would also require an immunity to haste. Unacceptable. Thank god limits take priority over other actions.

Right Arms take care of the rest.

At this point, I don't need 'em. CLOUD's out of MP anyway.

CLOUD's immune to fire, making most of the Dragon's turns wasted.

Dragon Fang still does a shitton but it instantly fills his limit gauge, which means I have time to use a Hi-Potion.

And after a half-dozen Right Arms, the Dragon falls, defeated by a level 12 character.

But surprise! The reward isn't worth all those Right Arms! I already have a Protect Vest and an extra 10 Dexterity isn't very much, not to mention I'll usually be running status or elemental resistance accessories anyway.

So this is what really happens: pitifully losing in the first round.

Much cheaper.

Sadly no this doesn't skip the exposition.

And furthermore I didn't hate Aerated enough to get the date I wanted. This is just not my night.

Goddammit Ice T, that IS acting like nothing ever happened. Stupid cat.

Not quite clock drugs but it'll have to do.

And this is the team. Again. Like usual. Next time is the actual interesting things like fighting Demon Wall.
