Part 8: Bonus Update
Unfortunately, due to several pressing matters that required my attention, I won't be posting the bonus update as planned. You guys didn't miss much, though. It was just some thing where the inspector magically finds the complaints from back in the first update on the elevator floor, which were from Dr. Kleiner and Eli Vance, et al. writing about how "our equipment wasn't meant to do this in the first place!"That being said, I promised you a bonus update, so a bonus update you shall get! Here are a few scenes which didn't make it into the final LP:

Yet again, this scientist refused to help me. What was going on with all the employees here? I had a very important job to do and they were making it even harder that it already was!
I turned around to take the elevator to another floor. Perhaps I would be able to find the administrator's office on the top floor. He would surely help me. As I walked up to the elevator doors, though, I noticed they seemed to be broken.
The doors were stuck wide open without any sort of temporary caution sign or hazard marking. This opening was in clear violation of regulation 1910.23 part (b)(1)! I looked into the elevator doors to see why they were open without a lift present.
I'd never been scared of elevators before. Those things used enough cables to carry several times their rated load. Even the most basic manlift needed to support 250 pounds according to regulation 1910.68 part (c)(1)(i). But this, how could this happen? If Black Mesa's failsafe systems were this prone to failure, what did that mean for the rest of the facility?
I made a note in my report to never ride an elevator here, no matter how safe it seemed.

All of the crates were still in the way. I still remembered how severe I thought of these hazards when I first found them. If only I knew what they signified beyond.
As I drove up to the gate, I noticed a truck parked in front of it, blocking my way.
I got out of my car to see if I could move it. I noticed a beeping sound coming from the bed, so I went to investigate it first.
A safety device? While I didn't want to stay here much longer and I didn't know whether it followed the proper subparts of regulation 1910 for safety equipment, but after what I saw, the employees here needed every bit of safety they could get. I followed the directions on the label and the beeping got faster. The safety device must be working!
I got in the cabin and put the truck in reverse. I parked it again back a little bit from the gate so my car could get back through. Now my way out of here was truly cleared of all obstructions. I got back in my car and drove down towards the ramp entrance.
At last, I pulled out of the ramp, and came around the mountain for one final look.
