Part 5: Breaking and Entering.
Chapter 5: Breaking and Entering.
"we have noclue of what could have caused the symptoms."
And so, our incredibly intrepid diagnostician goes forth.
Well, that is not a very impressive entrance.
"but I don't think there would be a problem to open this kind of lock."
That combined with Foreman's nickname. Something tells me it was intentional.
Oh boy! Unlocking minigame!
It's all about trial and error, there is a correct sequence of 4.
Well, that was easy.
"I can't stop surprising myself. It was easier than I expected."
Well, it is a single room. With no restrooms/toilets or even a bed.
"It doesn't look like it's been long dead. I can't discard any posibilities, though.
I'll take it."
No beds, but two fridges? WHAT IS GOING ON HERE?
"Man!!! I guess the burglar in me can't do it.
Maybe there is something interesting inside. I'll have to come back later.
I don't want to leave out anything."
"I don't think they were stupid enough to touch it. I'll take it."
"I will take a sample to analyse.
I think that by now I have enough things to analyse. Though, if its necessary I will come back."
Back to the Hospital. Let's see how Wilson is doing.
"Nothing."
"Not a single picture together? Or a love letter?"
"Nothing at all. But easy, I will find out."
"Keep me informed.
I believe that Cuddy and the others are gathered in your office.
I hope that Cuddy will not treat the patient again."
"The king has been away for too long. I better go there."
Strange, brownnoser Doctor Chase has something to say.
"How is our mysterious black hand doing?"
"He doesn't respond to the treatment.
Levaquin isn't working and pulmonary functions are falling."
"Where is the electrocardiogram? I want to take a look."
"You have it on the x-rays screen in your office."
"OK, wait here. I'll be back in a moment."
There it goes. Another interactive thing.
"Oh, this looks bad. It looks like there is a localised consolidation.
We will have to analyze the samples that I have brought, but so far all is suggesting pneumonia."
"but test everything I brought from the patient's house, we must be sure."
"Could it be caused by mould?"
"If this is aspergillosis, the treatment has to be done by Anfotericine B, its quite dangerous."
"This time the dangerous option will work, do it!"
"We will advise you on the results."
And then they are all gone.
Except for Cuddy.
"Another cheap excuse?"
"Why no one swallows this excuse?"
"And I don't want to loose time here with you, but I survive.."
"He lives in a small apartment."
"But there are many corners.
By the way, there is a pantry I couldn't open. It was locked."
"Let's wait to see the test's results, but if it would be necessasry I could ask him for the keys."
"Can come back any minute."
"What you want is to escape from the consults, but this time you won't get rid of them.
For the one you pass this morning and you just endorsed it to me."
"Ah, our telepohone friend! I knew you like to solve that kind of problems."
"Its not funny at all."
"Sure, neither for him. Could be that he had some important call."
"We'll meet later. A patient is waiting for you in the exam room."
Next update: BACK TO THE CLINIC.
